Whatever your experience or current challenges, let us bring our thanks, fears, hopes, and prayers to our heavenly Father. You may also wish to consider fasting in some way during the day.

We have chosen Isaiah 40: 28-31 as our focus verses for the day. We pray that as you place your hope in the Lord that you will find your strength renewed for 'He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak' (Isaiah 40: 29).

Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

• Consider fasting from something to create space for prayer during the day

• Share prayer requests and encouragements on the prayer wall
• Take opportunities to pray as you commute and go about your day
• Join others to pray locally or in your workplace
• Invite others to join in with the day of prayer
