At CMF, the legacies we receive are very precious and can be transformational. We are so grateful to those who have supported CMF’s work in this way, enabling our ministry to flourish. But in our recent survey, while five per cent of members said that they had already pledged a legacy to CMF – thank you! – 40 per cent hadn’t actually considered it yet.Â
So we asked Donna Holmes from Anthony Collins Solicitors and Rachel Steeden from Stewardship to help us with a webinar to answer your questions. They cover many points, including:
- Why is it important to write a will, and what happens if you don’t?
- Things to consider when writing a will.
- Leaving a legacy – there are many options.
- Why an ‘expression of wishes’ is very useful.
If you have any questions about leaving a legacy to CMF, we invite you to contact Ben Daniel, our operations director, who deals with legacies at CMF. He will do his best to answer your questions or point you to someone who can!
